How to pick a photo that looks great as a magnet
Five quick checks for a sharp, happy print, from your phone in under a minute.

Almost any phone photo can become a beautiful magnet. These five checks make the difference between good and wow.
1. Fill the frame
Magnets are small. Pick a photo where the subject fills most of the picture, or zoom in with the size slider in the designer.
2. Bright and in focus
Daylight photos print best. If it looks blurry on your phone, it will look blurry on the magnet.
3. Leave room for words
If you’re adding text, choose a photo with a calm area such as sky, sand or a plain wall. Outlined text styles stand out even on busy photos.
4. Mind the edges
Keep faces and words away from the very edge. The designer shows a safe area and warns you if anything might get trimmed.
5. Check the 3D preview
Flip to 3D to see your magnet or button the way it will look in your hand.
